Imagine yourself basking in breathtaking views of the south of France while relaxing on a terrace made of beautiful Trex decking. For a group of top editors from some of France’s leading home and shelter magazines, that dream became a reality last week when Trex hosted a special media event to formally introduce its brand and products to the French marketplace.
The five-star Marinca Hotel and Spa on the island of Corsica provided an idyllic setting for the event where, over the course of two days, a select group of influential French journalists from publications such as IDEAT, Maison Créative and Bois were treated to a combination of learning and leisure courtesy of Trex.
Among the highlights of the luxury hotel is its expansive terrace, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and which recently was renovated with Trex decking in Spiced Rum. The installation provided an ideal showcase for demonstrating Trex’s beauty and high-performance benefits.
Representatives from Trex and its European distributor Cyprus International introduced media guests to the range of Trex product offerings and colors, discussed Trex’s eco-friendly make-up and manufacturing process, and explained the benefits of high-performance composite over wood and other decking materials.
The journalists all were very impressed with what they heard and saw and expressed interest in sharing news about Trex with their readers. So, if you have plans to travel to France this season, be sure to keep an eye out for Trex in the country’s headlines and homes.
